Stacey has been involved with music her whole life. She started in choir, but got involved in marching band in high school and college.  She taught elementary music for 13 years and then went into instructional coaching, then instructional design.  Her band career started with Uptown Moonlighting and now Knox Boombox.  She plays flute, congas, bongos, keys, and

Kyle Moore began playing guitar at age 10, primarily self-taught and learning by ear.  His teenage years were spent being immersed in the emo scene in the greater Knoxville area. 

While studying jazz in college, he supplemented his income playing classic rock and country in bars at night.  He went on to having a 5-year tenure in Gatlinburg as a known local one-man band. 

Ben was handed drum sticks at age 9 when his father, a swing music era drummer, got him started with
some basic instruction. He played his first gig at age 14 in a 21 and up club and they had to sneak him in
through the kitchen. He played in bands throughout high school and college in the Nashville area. He toured the southeast with the Motown

Fred started playing ukelele at about age 10, guitar since age 13, and started playing in local bands in Evansville, IN at about age 18. He paid his way through college mainly playing in a regional band called The Pits. He continued to play in bands after graduation until moving to Knoxville in the late 90’s.
